Refund policy
Returns Policy
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 any unused product purchased through our site can be returned within 7 days from the date of receipt for a 100% refund, if in its original condition and in the original packaging. The only exception to this is when goods have been custom-made to order, for example GRP Overdoor Canopies or bespoke sized Canopies, in which case we are unable to except returns. For eligible items, all we ask is that you pay the cost of returning the goods to us via the same method we used to originally dispatch the goods to you. Customers are solely responsible for the safe return of goods undamaged.
We will carry out an inspection of all returned items to check for signs of use that would prevent us from reselling the equipment as new. If the goods are in mint condition, a 100% refund will be issued. If payment has been received in advance we guarantee to refund your money within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.
Any claims for damages or missing items must be notified to us within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Visual Assessment of Coloured GRP products
GRP canopies, finished in black, grey, or other such colours shall be deemed visually acceptable if any surface imperfections are not visible when viewed from a distance of 3 metres under natural daylight conditions (not in direct sunlight). Minor surface blemishes, such as slight texture variations, mould lines, or superficial marks that do not impact structural integrity or overall aesthetic from this distance, will be considered acceptable.
The assessment shall be conducted by standing at ground level or floor level (whichever is relevant to the installed location), at a distance of not less than 3 metres from the canopy, viewing at near normal incidence (i.e. perpendicular to the surface). The evaluation must be performed in natural daylight, but not in directsunlight, and with dry surfaces.
The use of magnifying devices, artificial lighting, or close-range inspection to identify imperfections is not permissible. Any marks or blemishes that are not visible from the defined viewing distance shall not constitute grounds for rejection.
GRP is a moulded material and, as such, may exhibit slight variations in finish or colour uniformity. These are inherent to the manufacturing process and will not be considered defects unless clearly visible from the viewing distance.
The colour finish applied to the GRP canopy, whether through gelcoat or paint, may contain minor surface imperfections typical of the respective application methods. Acceptable imperfections may include light peel effect, micro-bubbling, or slight sheen variations, provided they are not visible from a 3-metre distance under natural daylight. Any imperfections only visible under close inspection or artificial lighting shall not be deemed defects.
